Frame & Suspension
The frame was sent out to Multi Media Blasting in West Middlesex where it was cleaned to bare metal. They then painted the frame and rear end with POR 15 Semi Gloss Chassis Coat. I re-assembled the suspension using the stock front control arms and UMI tubular control arms. The control arms were powder coated to match the frame. I installed Hotchkis adjustable Crossmember braces as well. I installed a UMI rear lower control arm relocation kit and added a hefty rear sway bar. I also upgraded the front with a much larger sway bar. The suspension rests on Hotchkis lowering springs and Edelbrock shocks. All the bushings are polyurethane except the body mount bushings which are rubber. I also upgraded the steering box to a quick ration AGR performance unit. The ball joints, idler arm, pitman arm, centerlink and tie rods are from Moog. I used Edelbrock Billet tie rod sleeves. I also upgraded the front brakes to disc.
